This is very calming...... I think it is the colour that does it........

Beautiful in its simplicity. The eye first lands on the blurred object, then is led up to the sharpest one.

Iiespecially like the "nesting" composition in this image. Good color combination, too.

Excellent. Looks like what I know as Canada Thistle (Cirsium arvense). Did you know that artichokes are thistles?

I like this idea.....a wide view and a closeup inset. very nice.

series Tanacetum vulgare

Hmmmmm......the insects are obviously the subject. Why name it after the plant? The insect looks a lot like F-Oedemeridae, G-Nacerda sp.

Nice series, except the middle frame is too dark. It looks as if the lights were left off...lol.

Arctium sp. It never looked so good. Vinnie seems to find these devils everywhere he goes.

O my. Was this in your garden? It must be so nice to just walk out your door and have this invertebrate menagerie waiting to be photographed. You can leave your equipment handy and just shoot as the mood hits you.

It is great fun yes, I leave my flash on my 350D alll the time and use it only for macro now, I do not have to play with the settings if I do not want to as I keep the M the same on the camera, it works well. That way I can be fast when something happens...:) This is in my garden ...it is only 1/2 cm big though...they scare me, I hate spiders but I am getting more relaxed as I am getting used to them.
